The two sides have a lot in common. They both possess splendid civilizations and struggled for independence for a very long time, and after independence was achieved, they became allies and supporters of each other.
For nine years in a row, China has been Africa’s biggest trading partner. In the new century, within the FOCAC framework, the two sides cooperate in the field of politics, economy, culture, environmental protection, peace and security, and international affairs, setting an example for South-South cooperation.
