作者:Text by Hu Zhoumeng Designed by Andrey Maleev
Building a sustainable home is a common goal of all mankind. Moving away from the traditional development model that sacrificed the environment for economic growth, China has embarked on a road of green and sustainable development, and the drive to build an ecological civilization is impacting everyone’s life across the board.

Over the past five years, notable ecological progress has been made across the country.

The institutional mechanism to promote ecological progress has steadily improved, pollution control has seen encouraging improvement, green development has achieved remarkable results and the quality of ecological environment has been continuously enhanced. The idea that “clear waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets” is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and has increasingly achieved broad consensus across society.

As harmonious coexistence between human and nature actually becomes reality, a brand new scroll of green China is unrolling in front of us.
